Access & Hours
What time can I work out?
+Ryse is 24/7 for members. Your phone unlocks the door any time of day or night through the Avigilon Alta app — no key card to carry or lose.
How does the door access work?
+When you join, you get an invite from Avigilon Alta to set up the app. After that you can hold your phone near the reader at the door, or press the unlock button in the app — just keep Bluetooth and location turned on so it connects. Your door access matches your membership and turns on the moment you're active.
Where do I park?
+Free parking lot directly attached to the gym at 5328 Grand Avenue in Gurnee. No meters, no shared lots.
What if I lose my phone or get a new one?
+Stop by the front desk or reach out and we'll reissue your mobile key to your new device in a couple minutes.
Membership & Billing
Is there a contract?
+Standard membership has a 12-month initial commitment, then it auto-renews month to month. Day passes have no commitment.
What does membership cost?
+Right now it's one simple plan: a single-club membership with full 24/7 access — no enrollment fee and $0 down to start. A $40 annual fee is billed in your 2nd month, and there's a 12-month commitment that then continues month to month. Current pricing is on the Memberships page, and your monthly rate is locked at what you signed up for. (More membership options are on the way.)
Is there a sign-up or annual fee?
+No enrollment fee and $0 down when you join. The only extra is a $40 annual fee, billed in your 2nd month — after that it's just your monthly rate.
How do I access my billing history?
+Through the Ryse member portal. Sign in with the email on your account and your full billing and payment history is right there.Open My Billing
How do I see my visits and membership card?
+Every member gets an online portal. Sign in with the email on your account to see your membership details, recent visits, and your digital membership card.
I'm already a member — how do I get my online account?
+Use the email Ryse has on file and request a one-click sign-in link from the member portal. Your account and history are already there waiting; no password to create.
How do I update my card?
+You can update your payment method anytime from the member portal — sign in with the email on your account and head to your billing settings. Or stop by the front desk and we'll take care of it.
How do I cancel my membership?
+Cancellations are handled strictly through email — send us a message and our team will get in contact with you to take care of it.
Can I freeze my membership?
+Yes — talk to the front desk about a freeze if you'll be away (travel, injury, deployment). We'll get you set up.
Day Passes & Guests
Can I try the gym without joining?
+Absolutely. Grab a $20 day pass online — 24 hours of full-facility access from check-in. On your first visit, call the front desk to be let in and verify your ID; after that your phone unlocks the door for the rest of your pass. Great if you're visiting or want to try before you commit.
How does a day pass get me in?
+After you buy online and sign the waiver, call the front desk on your first visit — they'll let you in and verify your ID in person. From then on, your phone unlocks the door for the rest of your 24-hour pass.
How long is a day pass good for?
+24 hours of full-facility access, starting when you check in.
Can I bring a guest?
+Yes — every member gets 5 free guest passes a year. Once you've used those, any guest is welcome to purchase a guest pass to come train with you.
Training
Do you offer personal training?
+Yes — personal training is based at our Mundelein location with hand-picked coaches. You can browse trainers and book a session online once Mundelein opens.
How does booking a trainer work?
+Pick a trainer, choose a service and an open time on their schedule, and book online. You're only charged after the session is confirmed complete.
Facilities
What should I bring my first day?
+Bring a photo ID — if you signed up online, we'll verify it's really you before activating your door access. Plus your gym gear. Lockers, mats, and basic equipment are provided; bring your own straps and chalk if you use them.
Do you have showers and lockers?
+Yes — full showers and locker rooms on site.
Do you have a sauna?
+Yes — we have separate men's and women's saunas on site to recover after your session.
What equipment do you have?
+A serious floor: Panatta, Arsenal, Watson, Booty Builder, Nautilus, Prime, Hammer Strength, Rogue platforms for heavy lifting, and many more, plus dedicated spaces for strength, conditioning, and combat work.

Does my membership work at both locations?
